Released specifications

Agent Dossier

Declare what an agent may do, how it hands work off, and which evidence it must preserve before execution begins.

Per-agent governance specificationv1.1.0ReleasedApache-2.0

Status

Pinned in GC v1.2.0

Per-agent identity, authority, handoff, telemetry, and audit contracts.

Capabilities

What this component covers.

  • Identity and authority boundaries
  • Structured handoff envelopes
  • Runtime constraints and failure handling
  • Portable audit and telemetry declarations

Use path

Make a scoped, versioned claim.

  1. Pin Agent Dossier v1.1.0 or another explicitly selected release.
  2. Create a dossier document for each governed agent role.
  3. Use the published Python toolkit only for versions it explicitly supports; otherwise document manual checks.

Evidence boundary

Declare only what the evidence supports.

The published Python governance-commons 0.2.0 package does not expose Agent Dossier validation. Structural dossier validation exists in repository source; cite the exact source commit and validation procedure rather than claiming published-package support. Validation is not certification.
